People Administration
There are many things that can be added to an individual's record that can be used to categorize people. Among these are:
- Status—an indicator of a person's relationship with the church. Sometimes called membership status, it is often used to track a person's assimilation journey at the church.
- Individual Attributes—a mechanism used to create custom tags that can be applied to individuals for reporting purposes and to help quickly find people. An example of this is tracking experiences at the church such as baby dedications, baptisms, marriage anniversaries, professions of faith, and so on.
- Notes Type—a way to organize and provide security to notes. Every note must have a note type.
- Individual Requirements—used to track items that need to be completed before a person can volunteer. Requirements can also be used to track the steps to membership if that applies to your church. Each step to becoming a volunteer or member is configured as a requirement and then tracking on the individual record.
- Relationship Types—a way to organize and provide security access to relationships. Relationships is more typically referred to as counseling/mentoring. The different types of counseling or mentoring programs offered by your church can be configured as relationship types.
- Schools—optional data that allows you to track the school a student attends. Each school is entered and then applied to individual records to allow ministries to find students by school.
